Bears Sign TE Jimmy Graham for 2 years, $16 million
According to ESPN, The Bears have signed veteran TE Jimmy Graham to a 2 year, $16 million dollar deal. Once a dominant TE with the Saints, he has had stops in Seattle and Green Bay with decreasing production along the way. This signing has been frustrating for many Bears fans as they see the financial investment as too extravagant for a player on the tail end of his career. The Packers released him due to performance reasons and to make $8 million dollars in cap space for other free agent signings. Graham said that he believes the Bears are ready to win the super bowl, and he looks forward to showing that he has plenty left in the tank.
