Bears re-sign Trevathan to a 3 year, $21.25 Million deal
According to Larry Mayer at ChicagoBears.com, the bears have chosen to re-sign the oft-injured, but experienced and talented leader, Danny Trevathan. The 3 year, $21.25 million deal (although in reality it is only a 2 year, $14 million deal) is comparable to what Nick Kwiatkowski accepted from the Oakland Raiders, which shows that the team preferred a more proven option for their middle linebacker spot next to our 2018 first round pick, Roquan Smith. If Trevathan can stay healthy, he will be a key component in an elite defensive unit. To read more about the Trevathan signing, please click the link above.
